The days are slick
Traps are set
I’m not a gambler
but on this I’ll bet
That I’m covered
all the way around
HE has never
and will never let me down
I have to worry about me
and stay out of the way
So I drop down to my knees
and simply pray
Get my back LORD
Remind me today
That if the enemy comes
YOU will get in the way
And for that I’m grateful
Blessed and relieved
You do a better job
Of protecting me than me
